8:00 a.m. – OK. So maybe my first real attempt at live blogging did not go as well as I had wanted. Let’s try again today with Hobbystar’s 2010 Toronto ComiCon.
8:02 a.m. – The Canada/USA Olympic gold medal hockey game is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. this afternoon. It will be interesting to see how this event will affect attendance in the afternoon. According to some reports almost 70% of Canada tuned to watch the Russia/Canada quarterfinal game.
10:57 a.m. – Bigger than expected line up
11:15 a.m. – just had a conversation with Francis Manapul. Still in shock. In a good way. (edit. And no I won’t tell you. Follow his blog for updates.)
12:03 p.m. – busy
12:10 p.m. – Guy Davis
12:40 – Heroes of the World being politically correct. Both versions of the Iranian flag
12:52 p.m. – Marcus To, Nancy Zajac and Agnes Garbowska
1:05 p.m. – Brother Man! (edit. Found this book while digging through some magazines. Thought it might have been one of those B&W books from the mid-80′s. But a quick Google search later…)
1:30 p.m. – Cameron Stewart and Ray Fawkes
2:06 p.m. – cosplay and hockey … Can a comic con get more Canadian than that?
2:56 p.m. – leaving the show and heading over a bar to see the gold medal game. Surprisingly, there are still a lot of people here.
